A 58 room, 5 star hotel situated in the heart of the theatre district and just a short walk to the Royal Opera House, Soho and within a stone throw away of the city’s business centre. It is bordered by some of London’s famous restaurants and bars, vibrant cafes and famous theatre, nightlife and shopping.
Job Description:
* Ensures all food is prepared using standard recipes, is of high standards, and expedites to all outlets. This includes restaurant, banquets and room service areas.
* Maintains cleanliness of kitchen so as to receive a 90% or higher on health inspections.
* Communicates expectations daily with line cooks to ensure smooth operation.
* Maintains all use records, buffet temperature charts, roast meat charts, and recipe cards.
* Operates within established budget so as to meet guest expectations and meet that budget.
* This position is not an administrative position only. You will daily be actively involved in all culinary aspects.
Job Qualifications:
- Male/Female
- 25-40 years of age
- bachelor’s/college degree
- 3 years minimum experience as executive souse chef
