The company, a leading specialist with over 20 years of experience in the commercial insurance brokerage industry is offering an excellent opportunity that will provide qualified applicants the opportunity to fill up the Job position of a Commercial Account Handler. The said position will present the chosen applicant the opportunity to progress and develop his career in the insurance jobs sector.

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary: £30000 per annum

Job Responsibilities:

  • You will be required to arrange and secure new business and complete all relevant documentation in line with the FSA guidelines.
  • You will be required to work closely with account executives to secure competitive quotations for renewals and new business.
  • You will provide assistance in the preparation of reports and presentations.
  • You will ensure that all advice and operations remain compliant.

Job Qualifications:

  • must have at least 3 years experience / knowledge of commercial and or corporate insurance job.
  • must have excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
  • must be able to build and develop relationships with key underwriters.
  • must have good organizational skills.
  • Previous experience using Acturis Broker Software would be preferred but not essential.
  • must be enthusiastic and have the desire to help the business generate profitable income.
